Azerbaijan joins IMF, World Bank constituency meeting in Dushanbe

Azerbaijan attended the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank constituency meeting in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Taleh Kazimov, shared details about the event on his  X account, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

During the meeting, Kazimov discussed the ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan aimed at fostering long-term sustainable development and enhancing the welfare of its citizens. He also provided the event participants with updates on the main macroeconomic indicators and trends within the financial sector of Azerbaijan.

Kazimov highlighted the significance of hosting by Azerbaijan COP29 and the actions resulting from this important event, underscoring its importance to the country's development and international cooperation.
