Azerbaijan, Kazakh oil giants ponder cooperation expansion

The Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) and the Kazakh state-owned KazMunayGas have discussed ways to strengthen their collaboration.

A meeting was held today between the president of the company Rovshan Najaf and the chairman of the board of directors of KazMunayGas Magzum Mirzagaliyev, Report quotes SOCAR as saying.

The parties hailed the successful development of Azerbaijani-Kazakh relations in all fields, including energy.

The sides also exchanged views on refining, transit, oil trade and other issues of mutual interest.
