Azerbaijan, Russia explore new avenues for cooperation in military education VIDEO

On April 12, a high-level Russian military delegation, led by Colonel General Vladimir Zarudnitsky, Head of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, paid an official visit to the National Defense University of Azerbaijan.

Major General Gündüz Abdullov, Rector of the National Defense University, held discussions with the visiting delegation regarding the current state of cooperation and prospects for further development in the field of military education between the two countries, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense told Caliber.Az.

During the meeting, the Russian guests were presented with a comprehensive overview of the university’s founding, its educational structure, and the key missions and objectives it is tasked with fulfilling.

Following the discussions, the delegation proceeded to the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, where they received an in-depth presentation on the institute’s history and its principal areas of academic and military training activity.
