Azerbaijan seeks to apply Türkiye's land reform experience

Azerbaijan wants to apply the successful experience of the land reform of Türkiye in the liberated territories.

The remarks came from Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Economic Affairs and Innovation Development Policy Department of the Presidential Administration and a member of the Economic Council, who is on a visit to Türkiye, Report informs.

Movsumov noted that the main purpose of his visit to Türkiye was to get information about the ongoing land reforms and to study the experience in this field: "As you know, there is a task to prepare proposals for reforms in our lands freed from occupation. This is a part of the 2022-2026 social-political development strategy, approved by the President of Türkiye. In this regard, we are studying the experience of different countries.”

The delegation led by Shahmar Movsumov has been on a visit to Türkiye since March 1. As part of the three-day visit, the delegation will be received by Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay.
