Azerbaijan and Türkiye have discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of justice, labor, and social protection during a new round of consular consultations held in Ankara.
According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Azerbaijani delegation was led by Emil Safarov, Head of the Consular Department, while the Turkish side was headed by Gülsun Erkul, Director General of Consular Services and Citizens Abroad, Caliber.Az reports.
The consultations focused on the current state of cooperation in consular affairs, including the further development of the legal and contractual framework between the two countries, the protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms, and the provision of consular assistance.
