Azerbaijan,Türkiye, Georgia sign accord on electronic primary data exchange
The governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye have signed an agreement on preliminary data exchange to simplify transit customs procedures within the framework of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project.
The document was signed today in Baku as part of a meeting of the Trilateral Committee on Customs Issues between the governments of the three countries, according to Report.
The agreement was signed by Azerbaijani State Customs Committee First Deputy Chairman, Acting Chairman Shahin Bagirov, Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade, Customs Department Head Tuna Turagai, and Georgian Revenue Service Director-General Levan Kakava.
The document is aimed at the electronic exchange of primary data to facilitate customs procedures for goods transported in transit by the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which passes through the territory of all three states.
