Azerbaijani airlines resume flights to Russia
On June 15, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and Buta airways will resume flights to Russian cities, previously suspended due to the spread of COVID-19.
Starting from this date, AZAL and Buta Airways are gradually resuming the flight program from Heydar Aliyev International Airport to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Mineralnye Vody and Kazan, Caliber.Az reports, citing AZAL.
Thus, from June 15, Azerbaijan Airlines will start operating daily flights to Moscow’s Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports. The air carrier's flights from Baku to St. Petersburg will be operated twice a week - on Thursdays and Sundays.
At the same time, the low-cost airline Buta Airways will also launch flights twice a week to Astrakhan (Thursdays and Sundays), Mineralnye Vody (Tuesdays and Sundays) and Kazan (Wednesdays and Saturdays) twice a week.
Tickets for all scheduled flights of AZAL and Buta Airways to Russian cities are already on sale in air carriers’ accredited agencies.
Passengers who meet the travel rules and who are allowed to fly under the current epidemiological restrictions will be accepted for transportation on these flights.
Before flying, all passengers planning to travel to Russia are advised to study the rules and restrictions in force when entering this country.
