Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, State Committee on Religious Associations ink joint action plan

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence and the State Committee on Religious Associations have signed a plan of joint activities for 2024.

Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az that according to the plan of joint measures to combat religious radicalism in the Azerbaijani Army, the places, deadlines and persons responsible for implementation have been determined.

The measures are envisaged in the types of troops (forces), associations, formations, military units and special military schools of the Ministry of Defence.

During the year, events will be held with members of the Azerbaijani Army on the idea of Azerbaijanism, the preservation and development of national, spiritual and cultural values, the fight against radical religious movements and extremism, cooperation between cultures, civilisations and confessions and other topics, and educational talks will be held.
