"We make films to promote our country in the world. This is not only our success, but also the success of Azerbaijan. I think that every creative person should make a small but significant contribution to the promotion of our country. We made films at our own expense, without any material support. Our paintings have received more than 170 awards at international festivals over the past two years," he said.
Gasimov stressed that Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev carried out a historic mission necessary for the education of the Azerbaijani people, the receipt of higher education by talented people, as well as the elimination of illiteracy and ensuring comprehensive economic development in the country and the training of national personnel.
"During my years of study at Baku State University, I received a lot of information about this outstanding entrepreneur and philanthropist, in a word, I collected materials about him. But I would not even have thought that someday these documents, books, photographs would be needed to create my documentary," he said.
It should be noted that the documentary film "The First Success of the Nobel Brothers", shot in Azerbaijan by SSP Production and received great interest around the world, received various awards at 35 international festivals.
