Azerbaijani, Georgian FM's reinforce strategic partnership at UNESCO conference PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Georgian counterpart, Maka Bochorishvili, on the sidelines of the UNESCO General Conference to discuss bilateral and regional issues, according to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the ministers “discussed the political, security, economic, and humanitarian dimensions of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia, and exchanged views on key regional issues,” the ministry said on its social media page.
Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the “high level of bilateral ties,” emphasising that “active political dialogue at the leadership level forms a solid foundation for this partnership.”
The officials also underlined “the importance of joint efforts toward lasting peace and stability in the region.”
