Azerbaijani, Turkish culture ministers sign cooperation agreement
Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli signed an agreement on cultural cooperation in Ankara on November 13.
The document was signed at the third meeting of the joint Turkish-Azerbaijani commission, Report informs.
The agreement envisages expanded cooperation in cultural heritage, cinema, theatre, art, museums, librarianship and other spheres.
The issues of exchanging experience, rendering technical and expert support for joint cooperation in the preservation, and restoration of material and spiritual heritage, as well as in the field of cinema, theatre, art, museums, culture and creativity were also discussed at the meeting of the Joint Commission.
As part of his visit to Türkiye, Karimli will also take part in the exhibition entitled “Artists of Shusha City”, organised at the TURKSOY headquarters in Ankara.
