The Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with the Kenyan company CommCarrier, which provides satellite services.

According to the agreement, the use of satellite internet through the Azerspace-2 satellite began in Kenya's state bodies starting on January 24, Report informs, citing the ministry.

CommCarrier will serve partners in the Central and East Africa region in the KU-band of the Azerspace-2 satellite.
