Baku, Abu Dhabi explore broad partnership opportunities

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to discuss strategic partnership between the two nations.

The discussions highlighted that, following the signing in September of the Joint Declaration on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE, bilateral relations have entered a new strategic phase, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

The sides underscored the importance of sustaining effective cooperation and mutual support between Azerbaijan and the UAE, particularly within the framework of international organizations.

The meeting also explored avenues for mutually beneficial collaboration across a wide range of sectors, including trade and economic development, investment, renewable energy, the oil and gas industry, information technology, artificial intelligence, and other strategic areas.
