Baku port, China's largest port expanding cooperation PHOTO

Expansion of cooperation between Baku Port and one of China's largest ports - Qingdao Port - has been discussed.

Report has learned from the Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC.

A delegation of the Chinese port visited Baku port today, the report says, adding that the meeting with the delegation, headed by Deputy Director General of Qingdao Port Xing Dong Liang Gong, discussed cooperation in the field of development of port infrastructure and increasing the volume of cargoes transported through Azerbaijan.

A memorandum of understanding between the twin ports was signed between Baku Port and Qingdao Port on April 17, 2023, and a lighthouse monument was erected as a symbol of bilateral cooperation.
