Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Azfina discuss formation of innovative payments ecosystem

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and representatives of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association (Azfina) have discussed the formation of an innovative payments ecosystem.

CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov made a post on his X account in this regard, Caliber.Az reports.

We held another meeting with the representatives of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association at the Central Bank (@Central_Bank_AZ).

“We held another meeting with the representatives of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association at the Central Bank. During the meeting a presentation was delivered focusing on global economic trends, in particular inflation, domestic macroeconomic situation and the monetary condition, as well as the balance of payments and the FXmarket situation.

Meeting participants also exchanged their views on the results of previous year, activities of organizations represented in the fintech ecosystem, formation of the innovative payments ecosystem and expansion of the cashless payments,” the post reads.
