Baku to host international finance, banking summit
The 10th International Finance and Banking Summit will take place in Baku on June 9–10, with a focus on the digital transformation of the financial sector, including banking, artificial intelligence, payment systems, cybersecurity, compliance, and alternative banking models, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has stated.
Designed as a high-level platform, the event aims to support the region’s deeper integration into the global financial system, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The agenda reflects key banking and financial trends expected to shape 2026.
Among its main priorities are strengthening regional cooperation through regulatory harmonisation, coordination of payment systems, and stronger correspondent banking relationships, while also highlighting opportunities for international collaboration.
The summit will bring together a broad range of participants to foster dialogue and networking.
The program features policy discussions, panel sessions, and B2B meetings involving senior executives from banks and financial institutions, technology providers, regulators, policymakers, industry associations, FinTech companies, startups, international organisations, investors, development institutions, and other stakeholders.
Key objectives of the event include examining global banking and financial trends, advancing regional financial integration, expanding international cooperation, promoting innovation and sustainability, and creating opportunities for networking and strategic partnerships.
