Couple left with minor injuries after falling over 90 meters off canyon in car accident

An American couple survived a car accident in which their car fell over 90 meters deep off a canyon.

According to Boston.com, rescuers found the people in the Angeles National Forest southern California after the iPhone of one of the passengers sent a message via satellite to an emergency call center.

According to the publication, the car had smashed into a few trees as it careened.

“We only had bruises on our faces, cuts, and a little bit of neck pain and, now, a mild concussion”, one of the survivors said.

John Gilbert of the Sheriff’s Department called it a “miracle” that the couple had survived the plunge into Monkey Canyon in the Angeles National Forest.
