Defence minister: Türkiye, Azerbaijan reach agreement over KAAN fighter jets

Turkish National Defence Minister Yasar Guler has said that Azerbaijan and Türkiye reached an agreement with Azerbaijan over KAAN fighter jets.

“We have reached an agreement with Azerbaijan over domestically produced KAAN fighter jets,” he told A Haber, Report informs.

He said that Türkiye will reach an agreement on this issue with other countries, including Pakistan.

"They didn't give us the F-15s. So we had to produce our own aircraft. In fact, they did us a favour."

According to the minister, friendly and brotherly countries are working towards participating in the KAAN project.
