France, India, Greece encouraging Armenia’s military aggression Western Azerbaijan Community says
In a recent statement issued by the West Azerbaijan Community, serious concerns have been raised regarding Armenia's military relations, particularly in light of the recent visit of Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias to Armenia.
The community has highlighted Armenia's rapid arming, allegedly supported by France, India, and Greece, as well as the perceived influence of France and Greece in the management of the Armenian army, Caliber.Az reports citing the statement.
"Armenia's rapid arming with the support of France, India and Greece, the role of France and Greece in the management of the Armenian army, plans to create a quadripartite format of military cooperation cause serious concern. The intention to create such a quadripartite format of military cooperation between states located in different regions contradicts the UN Charter and international law. By such actions France, India and Greece are pushing Armenia towards another military aggression against Azerbaijan,” the statement reads.
The community demands that the Armenian government refrain from pursuing such aggressive actions, cease policies of militarization, and instead opt for a peaceful resolution of conflicts with Azerbaijan, including facilitating the return of exiled Azerbaijanis.
“The Western Azerbaijan Community demands from the Armenian government not to go to this adventure, to stop the policy of militarization, to take a course for peace with Azerbaijan and to create conditions for the return of exiled Azerbaijanis," the statement concludes.
