French envoy visits memorial to Armenian terror victims in Ganja PHOTO

French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Boillon has toured Azerbaijan’s second-largest city of Ganja.

The ambassador visited the memorial complex in Ganja in memory of civilians who died following missile attacks by the Armenian Armed Forces during the Second Karabakh War in 2020, according to APA.

The diplomat laid flowers at the destroyed houses as a sign of respect for the civilians who died during the terrorist attack.

The ambassador was informed that a rocket fired at that time from the territory of Armenia hit a residential building located around the “Victory Park”, many houses were destroyed, 11 people were killed, including five women, 40 people were injured, including six children and 16 women.

From October 4 to October 17, 2020, five such attacks were carried out. Following the Armenian terror in Ganja, a total of 26 people were killed, more than 170 people were injured, and huge damage was inflicted on civilian infrastructure and vehicles.
