Indonesia buys ANKA drone from Türkiye PHOTO
Indonesian Ministry of Defense has announced the acquisition of 12 ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles from the Turkish aerospace company TUSAŞ worth $300 million to modernize the country's outdated military equipment.

Six UAVs will be produced and shipped from Türkiye, and the remaining six UAVs will be produced in Indonesia through technology transfer to the Indonesian aviation company PT Dirgantara Indonesia, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Twitter page of SavunmaSanayiST.com.

The agreement with the Turkish company TUSAŞ was signed in February. The drones will be delivered within 32 months from the date of the agreement.

The agreement also includes the supply of training and flight simulators, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
