International travelers enjoy Jidir plain view in Shusha

An international group of travelers from the UK, which includes representatives of 12 countries, after attending the rally of eco-activists on the Khankendi-Lachin road, headed for Jidir Duzu (Jidir plain) in Shusha.

The group is in the region within a three-day visit to Karabakh and East Zangazur, Report informs.

The guests were told that once upon a time, riding competitions on the famous Karabakh horses were held on Jidir Duzu, as well as national holidays were also celebrated.

The travelers were also told about the unprecedented military operation, when, during the second Karabakh war, the Azerbaijani military with light weapons climbed these dangerous rocks, surrounding Jidir Duzu from three sides, from where the enemy did not expect them, and liberated Shusha from occupation.

After the end of the war and the liberation of the Azerbaijani territories, the Kharibulbul international music festival is annually held on Jidir-Duzu, and other major events are also organised.

A trip to Karabakh and East Zangazur has begun for an international group of travelers representing 12 countries, created in the UK.

The 30-member group includes representatives from the US, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Russia.

Travelers will visit the liberated Azerbaijani territories on February 4-6 along the Fuzuli-Khojavand-Shusha-Kalbajar-Lachin-Zangilan-Jabrayil-Aghdam route.
