Iran affirms unstoppable growth of indigenous missile power
Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Deputy Defence Minister for Strategic, Planning, and Parliamentary Affairs, has emphasized that Iran’s missile capabilities continue to grow steadily and are impervious to external sanctions.
Brigadier General Talaei-Nik highlighted that the development of Iran’s missile power is the result of the unwavering efforts of the nation’s “great martyrs,” including Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, and other leading figures in the missile sector, Mehr News Agency reports.
“If Iran's missile capability were not indigenous, based on technical know-how and domestic capacities, it would not have been possible to grow considering the sanctions imposed on the defence sector over the past 45 years,” the spokesman underlined.
Talaei-Nik also paid tribute to the pivotal role of martyr Tehrani Moghaddam, widely recognized as the father of Iran’s missile system. He stressed that “the indigenous and leading nature of Iran’s missile industry and power is greatly indebted to the great martyrs in this field, including martyr Tehrani Moghaddam, who is considered one of the founders of Iran’s missile power system.”
The defence official further asserted that sanctions would not hinder the advancement of Iran’s missile technology, noting that “the missile industry’s dependence on foreign countries has been minimized to a great extent thanks to the indigenized missile power technologies.”
