Iran shoots down dozens of US-Israeli drones
Since the start of the conflict with the United States and Israel, Iranian forces have reportedly shot down more than 82 enemy drones, destroyed four F-15 fighter jets, and targeted advanced radar installations in the region, a source familiar with the matter said in an interview with Tasnim.
The source said these actions have created a “completely different situation” in both offensive and defensive operations, causing disruptions in enemy activity.
“Due to failures in command and radar systems, the US and Israel have changed their tactics,” the source explained. “Instead of precise operations, they now rely on intimidation methods that are militarily ineffective. For example, the enemy has used costly armor-piercing bombs against targets of no strategic value, such as empty police posts or militia bases.”
The source emphasised that these battlefield changes are a significant advantage for Iran, forcing the enemy to expend expensive weaponry on targets with little military gain. He added that the intimidation tactics are unlikely to achieve their intended effect: “The enemy will soon realize that the nightmare of infrastructure destruction is already underway, while they are conducting operations far differently than expected.”
According to the source, these developments allow Iran to better control the situation and minimise threats from the US and Israel.
