Iranian commander: No US ships present in Persian Gulf
Iran’s Navy Commander Shahram Irani has stated that no American vessels have entered the Persian Gulf, adding that the country has endured threats from its “adversaries” for 47 years.
According to Irani, the key source of Iran’s maritime power lies in its citizens, youth, scientists, and domestic industry, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
The commander emphasised that the Iranian Navy is an equipment-oriented force and that fulfilling its missions is impossible without the support of researchers, talented specialists, and national industry. He added that this popular and scientific foundation constitutes the country’s real strength.
He noted that the country’s economic arteries remain open, vessels operate under escort, and full security of strategic waterways is ensured.
Irani ended his remarks with a warning to Iran’s adversaries, stating that any miscalculation would be met with a unified nation firmly backing its armed forces and refusing to bow to threats or pressure.
