Kocharyan loses millions Statement of the Armenian Prosecutor-General's Office
The Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia has decided to seize the property of ex-President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and his affiliates (seven people).
The Armenian media reports, citing the Armenian Prosecutor-General's Office, according to Caliber.Az.
The Office for the Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin under the Prosecutor-General's Office applied to the court for confiscation, and the court made a decision on July 13.
As a result, preliminary interim measures were taken against the property of Kocharyan, his wife, children, and their spouses.
“According to preliminary data, 20 units of real estate in Yerevan in the administrative buildings of the Kentron district, two vehicles, shares in 18 foreign and Armenian companies, a deposit and securities worth $1.5 million, as well as about 22 billion drams, which are part of the funds of illegal origin,” the message says.
