Moscow says air defences down 65 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russia’s Defence Ministry says its air-defence systems intercepted and destroyed 65 Ukrainian drones overnight across several regions, as well as over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

According to the ministry, 16 drones were downed over the Black Sea, while 14 were intercepted over Voronezh Region and another 14 over Krasnodar Territory.

Air defences also shot down 11 drones over Belgorod Region, nine over the Sea of Azov and one over Bryansk Region, the ministry said.
