No deal valid without Khamenei’s signature, Iranian cleric says
Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Friday prayer leader in Mashhad, has said that no agreement or commitment would be considered valid without the approval and signature of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
Speaking on the issue, Alamolhoda described “enmity and hostility toward the United States” as one of the fundamental principles of the Islamic Republic, Iran International reports.
He argued that any understanding reached without the endorsement of the Supreme Leader would lack legitimacy, stressing that the country’s major decisions must remain aligned with his authority.
Alamolhoda further stated that Iran should, through full obedience to Mojtaba Khamenei, ensure that not only the United States but any major power is deprived of the confidence to carry out acts of aggression against the country.
