Official: US grateful to Azerbaijan for cooperation in Afghanistan

Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried has said that the US is grateful to Azerbaijan for cooperation and support in Afghanistan.

“The withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan was very difficult. Azerbaijan was close to the US till the end and rendered support,” Donfried said at a briefing, according to Report.
