Omani SalamAir to resume flights to Azerbaijan’s Baku
Omani SalamAir airline will resume flights to Azerbaijan’s capital Baku and Kazakhstan’s Almaty city in summer.
The passenger seat occupancy in the direction of Baku and Almaty was 85 per cent and 87 per cent, respectively, in 2023. Taking this into account, SalamAir will begin to make flights to Baku on June 16, while to Almaty on June 18. Flights will be made twice a week, Report informs citing the airline.
Some 33 airlines, including 13 low-cost airlines, made 3,853 flights to Baku in February.
SalamAir flies to over 38 destinations.
In the last few years SalamAir has been rapidly expanding its range of destinations. Based in Muscat Oman, the airline caters for a range of different domestic flights.
The airline also offers a large range of international destinations; everywhere from across the Middle East, to Africa, Asia and Nepal.
