Pakistani PM expresses gratitude to Azerbaijani President

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“I am thankful to H.E. Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, for approving the tax exemption on the import of Pakistani rice for five years. Our two brotherly countries will work to promote economic cooperation and connectivity through road, rail and Gwadar port,” Caliber.Az reports citing Sharif’s message on Twitter.

The Azerbaijani government has exempted rice imports from Pakistan from customs duties until December 31, 2027.
