Quakes hit Azerbaijan's Kurdamir region Emergencies Ministry reports on casualties

Two consecutive earthquakes of magnitude 5.2 and 3 occurred in the Kurdamir region of Azerbaijan on September 3.

According to the Republican Seismological Service Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, tremors were recorded at 8:35 pm and 01:19 am local time, 14 km south of the Kurdamir station, Caliber.Az informs.

The source of the shake was reported to be at a depth of 52 km.

The Emergencies Ministry of Azerbaijan did not receive any information about the casualties or damage caused by the quakes, Report informs.
