Russia eyes collaboration with India on unmanned aviation, automotive technologies
Russia is exploring potential collaboration with India in the field of unmanned technologies, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Alexey Gruzdev said during the international business forum “Partnership Summit.”
“In Russia, this sector is developing successfully, and a dedicated industry strategy has been formulated and is being implemented,” Gruzdev noted, highlighting opportunities for cooperation with India in both aviation and automotive unmanned systems.
The forum, held on November 14–15 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, is one of India’s largest international business events. The “Partnership Summit” brings together over 3,000 delegates from dozens of countries. The Russian delegation is led by Gruzdev himself.
This year’s summit, themed “Partners in Progress – India’s Roadmap to Viksit Bharat 2047,” includes participation from more than 100 international delegates, with several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) expected to be signed.
Since its launch in 1995, the CII Partnership Summit has been held annually in collaboration with India’s Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The 2025 edition is additionally organised in partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
