Russian analyst asserts doubts on NATO, EU fulfilling promises to Armenia
Russian political scientist Nikolai Starikov has commented in an interview with Armenian media on European politicians' promises of "help" to Armenia.
"Who did the EU actually help in military terms? The answer is no one. Who has had help from NATO in the military sense, so that there was a problem and there was a solution? Nobody," the pundit believes, per Caliber.Az.
"These structures have not been created to solve problems, but to create them, and then, under the guise of solving them, to solve their own problems. This formula is universal to all countries and to all times. So I don't think these statements should be taken seriously. One can easily assume how the European Union, and NATO work and why they were created," the politician said.
