Russian, Turkish FM's to exchange views on key geopolitical hotspots

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to meet with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, who will be on an official working visit to Moscow from May 25 to 27.

The announcement was made at a briefing by Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.

Zakharova said the two ministers will exchange views on regional issues, with a focus on the situations in Syria, Libya, the South Caucasus, and the Black Sea region.

Discussions will also cover prospects for strengthening trade and economic cooperation amid current conditions.

The ministers are expected to review the schedule of bilateral contacts at senior and high levels during the visit.
