Turkish Aerospace Industries chief: National combat aircraft KAAN surpasses F-35 VIDEO

Turkiye's national combat aircraft KAAN is superior to the F-35 in almost all respects. This fighter is similar in characteristics to the F-22.

The statement came from the head of the Turkish Aerospace Industries, Temel Kotil, on the air of TGRT HABER, Caliber.Az reports.

According to him, KAAN will become a fifth-generation fighter for mass production, and after it will be upgraded into a sixth-generation fighter (invisible).

Temel Kotil noted that TR MOTOR will complete the development of engines for KAAN in 2028. KAAN will be 100 per cent based on domestic technologies.

We will hand over the first 20 aircraft to the army in 2028. After that, Turkiye will be able to produce two aircraft every month.

The cost of the fighter will be about $100 million per unit. The engines will be Turkish. Turkiye will be able to sell them to any country. The revenue from the export of the aircraft will amount to $ 2.4 billion per year.
