Turkish army receives modified ARMA Vehicle for mine hunting

The Turkish military has received a modified version of the ARMA wheeled armored vehicle from local manufacturer Otokar.

The 8x8 tactical vehicles are intended to support Turkiye's modern mine detection project, as reported by the Defense Post.

The modified ARMA vehicles are equipped with an Aselsan ground-penetrating radar for detecting handmade explosives and mines. Metal detectors have also been installed to enhance accuracy. '

The ARMA 8x8 vehicle features an armored monocoque body structure, providing increased ballistic and mine protection. Its modular design allows for the integration of various weapons and equipment, making it suitable for a variety of missions.
