Turkish intelligence neutralises one of YPG/YPJ leaders in Syria PHOTO

Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organisation have neutralised one of the YPG/YPJ ringleaders Umana Dervis in northern Syria.

Dervis, codenamed "Shervin Derik", who was included in the MIT target list due to her actions against Turkish security forces and command of terrorists trained to carry out actions in Türkiye, was neutralised in Syria's Manbij town, Caliber.Az reports, citing TRT Haber.

In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The YPG is its Syrian branch.
