Türkiye introduces latest cruise missile - CAKIR VIDEO

Türkiye is adapting to the "light cruise missile" concept, which is rapidly widespread around the world, thanks to the CAKIR cruise missile manufactured by the Roketsan company.

CAKIR cruise missile can be launched from air, land and sea, Caliber.Az reports citing the message of SavunmaSanayiST.com on X.

CAKIR will be equipped with a “hybrid homing head” (by using an inertial navigation system and an infrared or radar seeker).

It is being tested on the AKINCI attack unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

The missile's weight is 275 kilogrammes, and its range is 150 kilometres.

The missile length is 3.2 metres with a 4.1-metre booster.

Navigation speed is high subsonic 0.75-0.85.
