Türkiye, Saudi Arabia agree on enhanced coordination for regional stability, economic growth
The Türkiye-Saudi Coordination Council meeting in Riyadh ended with a memorandum of understanding signed between Türkiye’s Diplomacy Academy and Saudi Arabia’s Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute, marking a key step in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expressed strong satisfaction with the growing, sincere partnership between the two nations, highlighting their roles as key players in the region and the wider Islamic world, Caliber.Az reports, per the Foreign Ministry.

He underlined the resilience of Türkiye-Saudi relations, rooted in historical and human ties, despite recent challenges.
Fidan emphasised the momentum gained under the visionary leadership of both countries and reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to enhancing cooperation on regional stability and peace.
He welcomed the continued growth in trade, which reached 8 billion US dollars in 2024, and set ambitious targets to raise this to 10 billion dollars within the year and 30 billion dollars over the medium to long term, citing the complementary nature of the two economies as a strong foundation for achieving these goals.
