Urban designer: Roads for electric buses, bicycles to be built in Jabrayil, Shusha

Urban designer Adrian Griffiths has said that separate roads for electric buses and bicycles will be built in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil and Shusha cities.

He made the remarks at the 2nd National Urban Planning Forum on "Importance of urban mobility in sustainable urban development management" held in Baku within the framework of "Urban Planning Week 2023" events, Report informs.

"I am involved in the construction of road infrastructure in Jabrayil and Shusha. In both cities, conditions are created for the movement of electric buses and bicycles. When creating a bike lane, it is important to provide parking and safety. One of the main points we pay attention to is that the bicycle paths pass through green, scenic areas. Green, sustainable transportation infrastructure should be safe and clean for people," Griffiths said.
