US embassy urges all diplomatic missions to support COP29 in Azerbaijan
The US Embassy has declared its readiness to join the celebration of the “Green World Solidarity Year” and COP29 in Azerbaijan announcing a number of green initiatives.
The embassy called on other embassies and missions in Azerbaijan to follow suit, Caliber.Az reports citing the Embassy’s X account.

“During his credentialing ceremony, Ambassador Libby congratulated President Aliyev on Azerbaijan hosting COP29. We, at the U.S. Embassy Baku, would like to join Azerbaijan in celebrating the year of solidarity for a green world and COP29 by greening our Embassy,” the diplomatic mission wrote on X.
