Visits to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories boost bilateral cooperation, envoy says
Visits to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories are helping expand cooperation between Baku and Washington across multiple sectors, the US Embassy in Baku has stated regarding US Chargé d’Affaires Amy Carlon’s visit to the region.
In a post on X, the embassy said Carlon had the opportunity to learn about new infrastructure and regional development initiatives in Khankendi and Lachin, including Karabakh University and the Zerti Agro-Industrial Park, Caliber.Az reports.

This was CDA Carlon’s second visit to the region in less than a week.
“She emphasized that trips like these help build a clearer understanding of the region and support growing U.S.-Azerbaijan cooperation in areas like connectivity, economic development, defense, and security,” the embassy noted.
Amy Carlon visited Khojaly, Khankendi, Shusha, and Lachin on May 1–2 alongside members of the diplomatic corps.
The trip was organized by the Azerbaijani government.
