What Azerbaijani people spend most money on

Consumer spending of the population of Azerbaijan for January-March 2022 has been published.

Food and non-food products worth AZN 11 billion were sold to consumers in retail chains, the State Statistics Committee told Oxu.Az. 

In the reporting period, 56.5% of consumer spending was directed to the purchase of food, beverages and tobacco products, 15.2% - textiles, clothing and footwear, 5.2% - gasoline and diesel fuel, 4.7% - electrical goods and furniture, 2.4% - medicines and medical supplies, 1.1% - computer equipment, telecommunications equipment and printing products, 14.9% - other non-food products.
