More than 20,000 rescued in quake-hit areas in Türkiye

So far, more than 20,000 people have been rescued from the quake rubble in Türkiye, according to Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay.
He said the figures are constantly changing amidst non-stop search and rescue operations, Trend informs.
On February 6, an earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred in Türkiye. The earthquake with its epicentre in the Pazarjik region of Kahramanmarash province hit ten southwestern provinces of the country affecting a total of 13.5 million people.
