Azerbaijan discusses directions of cooperation with UNDP

Azerbaijan has discussed cooperation with the UN Development Program in different directions.

According to Report, the talks were held at a meeting of Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Mammadov and UNDP Resident Representative for Azerbaijan Nuno Queirós.

Mammadov emphasized the importance of effective cooperation with the UN and its specialized structures to achieve the development goals of the country.

It was noted that the implementation of the framework document signed between the UN and the government of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of sustainable development for 2021-2025 plays an important role in the implementation of the reforms carried out in the country, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the implementation of the project "Azerbaijan 2030 : national priorities of social and economic development».

Projects implemented as part of a successful partnership with the UN Development Program are important for achieving sustainable development.

Queirós noted that the organization will make every effort to develop ties with Azerbaijan.
