Azerbaijani, Pakistani deputy foreign ministers hold political consultations PHOTO
Another round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Pakistan was held in Baku on May 31, 2023.
The Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and Pakistan's First Deputy Foreign Minister Asad Majid Khan.
In the course of political consultations, the sides exchanged views on cooperation in economy, trade, agriculture, education, culture, energy, tourism and other spheres, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported Caliber.Az.
The sides stressed the importance of reciprocal visits, in particular, parliamentary diplomacy and noted its positive impact on many areas of bilateral relations.
During the discussions it was noted that the year 2022 was remembered as a significant date, such as the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, it was expressed satisfaction with the current high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, which are built on friendship and brotherhood.
Pakistan's firm position during the 44-day war, its unconditional support and solidarity with Azerbaijan were specifically emphasized.
Deputy Minister Elnur Mammadov spoke in detail about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, the process of demining, reconstruction and construction in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as the "Great Return" program, "green energy" and "smart city" projects.
The meeting included an exchange of views on multilateral cooperation, regional issues and other topics.
