Baghdad presents book on Azerbaijan’s victory in Patriotic War

The Iraqi capital city of Baghdad presented a book “The History of Patriotic War - Personality Factor”, published in Arabic, dedicated to the victory in the 2020 Patriotic War.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iraq Nasir Mammadov spoke at the presentation of the book, emphasizing that under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan achieved a brilliant victory in the 44-day war in the fall of 2020, Caliber.Az reports.

Also speaking at the presentation were Professor Fatima Salumi; advisor to the Iraqi prime minister on energy Falah al Amiri; head of the Iraqi Cultural Forum Sadig al Jamal, etc.

In addition, during the organization of the Azerbaijani-Iraqi Friendship Society, the book “Karabakh - a military and political victory,” written by Iraqi Professor Moataz M. Abdulhamidi, was presented.

In September 2021, the book “Personality Factor” was published in Azerbaijani, in June 2022 - in Russian, and in March 2023 - in English. Now its version is presented in Arabic. In addition, the book will be published in Chinese.

So as to bring the book to the world community, it was decided to release it in Russian, Turkish, Arabic, and English.

The book was prepared by a team of authors consisting of representatives of the executive authorities of Baku and the Institute of History under the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. It presents an article by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, an article by the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, articles by parliamentarians of the Milli Majlis, political figures, etc.

The book is sent to libraries, higher and secondary educational institutions. It reflects in detail the history of the great victory of the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War in the fall of 2020.
