Azerbaijani naval special forces conduct counter-terrorism drills VIDEO

The Azerbaijani Navy's maritime special forces have conducted exercises on the performance of reconnaissance tasks under the plan of combat training for 2024.

During the training, held in conditions close to the conditions of real combat, the special forces, using modern technology and new combat tactics, performed tasks on anti-terrorist operations, in particular, neutralized a terrorist group of the conditional enemy, which was hiding on infrastructure in settlements, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.

In addition, special forces with the use of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) disabled observation posts and long-term firing points of the conditional enemy, and mobile groups made a sudden penetration and attack on positions, using aerosol curtain and protective properties of the terrain. High professionalism was also demonstrated by the special forces when performing tasks to free a ship seized by a suspected terrorist group and evacuate its crew.

All tasks set during the training sessions were successfully accomplished.
