Azerbaijan's tourism potential shines bright at exhibition in China

For the first time, Azerbaijan's tourism potential is being showcased at GITF 2024 (Guangzhou International Tourism Fair), held in Guangzhou, China, from May 16 to 18.

State Tourism Agency announced Azerbaijan's participation in the event, according to Report.

Six local partners, including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), Shahdag Tourism Centre, and Reserves Management Centre, as well as the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, are representing the country at the exhibition.

During the first day of the event, the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau's representative office in China hosted a presentation, providing a detailed overview of Azerbaijan's tourism offerings.

Furthermore, the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau received first place in the "Potential Tourist Destination" category at the Chinese Tourist Welcome Award 2024 competition, organized by the China Outbound Tourism Research Institute as part of the exhibition.
